Six Teens Charged in Recorded Attack in Selma

SELMA, Ala. (AP) -- Six young people have been arrested in Selma over an online video showing a lone teen boy being attacked by a gang.

District Attorney Michael Jackson called the videotaped beating "a sad situation" and "a stark reminder" of what's going on in Selma.

Reports say that one 18-year-old and five juveniles face felony charges of compelling gang membership.

The video shows the lone teen boy being surrounded by a group of teens. One of the teens punches the victim several times and then other teens join in the assault.
