Sinise and Band to Play Fort Rucker's Freedom Fest

DALEVILLE, Ala. (AP) -- The Army's Fort Rucker is set to welcome Oscar-nominated actor Gary Sinise and his band for its annual Freedom Fest.

The Lt. Dan Band is set to perform Tuesday during the festival, which is set to run from 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission to the event is free.

Other entertainment is expected to include country music artist Natalie Stovall and the 98th Army Band at Fort Rucker.

He and his band performed a variety of songs before the fireworks at last year's Freedom Fest.

The band's website says it covers classic rock songs and contemporary hits.

In addition to the live entertainment, the event will also feature food and craft vendors and children's activities.
