Single-Vehicle Accident Claims a Passenger’s Life in Okaloosa County

A single-vehicle accident has left one passenger dead and the driver with serious injuries in Okaloosa County, Florida.

The accident occurred around 5:30 Monday evening on State Road 189 North.

For an unknown reason, a car being driven by Adam Odom was traveling southbound in the northbound lane of that state road.

He then took the vehicle onto the east shoulder, where it struck a concrete culvert. This caused the vehicle to overturn several times before coming to a stop upside down.

Lindsay Renee Duncan was partially ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene. She was 25 from Baker, Florida.

Odom was airlifted for his serious injuries to Sacred Heart Hospital.

If any additional details are revealed in the accident, News 4 will bring them to you.
