Strong thunderstorms are moving eastward through the Florida panhandle and could bring strong winds as well as heavy rains.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service detected strong thunderstorms extending from Slocomb to Panama City. These storms were moving to the east at 30 miles per hour.
A recent wind gust of 39 miles per hour was reported at the Panama City airport.
In addition to heavy rains, winds of up to 50 miles per hour will be possible with these storms.
