Former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman is expected to report to prison next month.
Siegelman says what he will dread the most is missing his family.
A federal judge recently resentenced the former governor to six and a half years for bribery and other charges.
Siegelman says he always thought he would win his case on appeal and would not have to go back to prison.
He will get credit for the nine months he has already served.
Siegelman's attorneys say that plus credit for good behavior could shorten his prison time to about five years
