Jackson Police have not made an arrest in the shooting of a man on the Martin Luther King Jr. Parade route Saturday.
Authorities questioned one suspect, however, they said they released him.
Earlier, a man was shot in the chest during the parade.
The victim was taken to university of Mississippi medical center, where he was listed in stable condition.
A weapon was recovered.
