Governor Robert Bentley is declaring next week severe weath awareness week.
The National Weather Service, the Alabama Emergency Management Agency and other agencies are teaming up to help Alabamians stay safe during severe weather.
The week will promote advance planning and increased awareness that help residents of Alabama survive deadly storms.
