Severe Thunderstorm Warning: Coffee, Dale, Geneva & Houston Counties until 2am

The National Weather Service has placed portions of several wiregrass counties under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 2am for the threat of damaging straight-line winds.

A line of storms that could produce damaging straight-line winds up to or in excess of 60 miles per hour was detected east of New Brockton and Geneva moving to the east at around 55 miles per hour.

Locations that could see the effects of this storm include: Daleville, Fort Rucker, Hartford, Ozark, Newton, Slocomb, Midland City, Taylor, Pinckard as well as surrounding areas.
