There are many organizations throughout the Wiregrass trying to make sure no one goes hungry.
The various ones in our area are getting hot meals ready for Thanksgiving.
Organizers are even trying to help those who can provide a meal on their own.
"They may be able to provide for themselves but just don't have any company what we just want tot do it serve the community whether it is with a meal or fellowship that way no one has to go hungry or lonely on thanksgiving," said Brad Hardy, executive director of the Dothan Rescue Mission.
Organizers say they want to thank the community for donating money, food and time.
They say without help they would not be able to feed as many people.
