A sentencing date has been set for a convicted killer in Dothan.
Jurors deliberated less than hour earlier this week before finding 27 year old Marcus Rivers guilty in the shooting death of another man.
Patrick Dixon was gunned down during a drug deal in April of 2006.
Judge Michael Conaway is expected to sentence Rivers to life in prison without parole on September 28.
The judge has already ruled Rivers is not eligible for the death penalty because Rivers is mentally retarded.
