The class is open to seniors 50 and older.
It's held at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.
A certified AARP instructor teaches the course on basic road skills and explains how to drive in the rain.
Some seniors say the course is not only enjoyable it also helps in other areas.
"Well its a lot of things when you first learn to drive, you get older, you forget so it refreshes your memory," said Earlyne Ford.
Seniors who attend the course get discounts on their auto insurance.
The course will be held again in August and October.
