Alabama's Primary Election brings with it a new voter I.D. law.
The Secretary of State's Office wants to make sure residents are prepared.
Their mobile voter I.D. unit is touring the state.
Over the next week they'll be in the wiregrass giving out free photo I.D. cards.
"Really we're bringing the news because in every county the Board of Registrars office has the same equipment that we have. So they can go anytime during the week and have the same photo voter I.D. Made but with us coming it brings a little attention to the matter," Alabama’s Secretary of State Public Information Officer, Tamara Cofield said.
You can find a list of where they'll be traveling and dates on the Alabama Secretary of State's website.
