Today city officials announced more information on the event.
The summit is an annual undertaking that organizers say will bring economic success to local residents and businesses.
"It's a wonderful opportunity to get involved in the day to day to help other people, it's a wonderful opportunity and I advise everyone if they have an opportunity to make it, come on out and participate," said Chairperson, Entrepreneurship Committee Mackroyce Corbitt.
The summit is scheduled for Wednesday, August 31st at the Civic Center.
It will focus on 7-categories including entrepreneurship, medical and healthcare and workforce development.
