The search for the missing boater continued today in the bay. Two boats and a helicopter were used by WCSO. FWC also used a boat in the search today.

WCSO will continue to search over the weekend. According to those who have been assisting in the search, tomorrow the WCSO will enlist the assistance of a cadaver dog. This dog is part of a team of volunteers who assist in search and rescue/recovery missions. Teams should be starting around the average time they have been all week, which is 7:30 a.m.

If there is any new information gathered over the weekend, it will be distributed at that time. However, if not, this will serve as notice of the manpower and services that will be put forth on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday morning, a new update will be given as to how the search will proceed.
