Dothan, AL - Some wiregrass kids went on an adventure through dance Friday.
The Southeast Alabama Dance Company is bringing the story of the lion king to the Dothan Civic Center stage all weekend.
The kids watched eagerly as dancers as young as eight jumped and turned across the stage.
Leaders say it's important they continue to offer reduced ticket prices so kids can experience the arts.
“A lot of children otherwise might not be able to learn about dance or the arts, so it is in our mission statement to make sure we expose children to the art of dance,” said SEADC Executive Director Tracy Solomon.
