Sandy Hook Students Back to School

Students and teachers of Sandy Hook Elementary School will return to school on Thursday. However, it won’t be in Newtown. A repurposed school in Monroe held an open house on Wednesday. Workers and teachers have been getting the former middle school building ready by painting, moving furniture, and recreating classroom spaces.

Some families have already visited the school. The children have not had school since the shooting on December 14th. Counselors say it is important for the kids to get back to a normal routine.
