There was one doggone good race held in Washington, DC Saturday.
The second annual running of the Chihuahuas was held at Kastles Stadium, a tennis stadium on the Waterfront in Southwest D.C.
All of dogs had to meet one key requirement in order to participate -- they had to be a Chihuahua or Chihuahua mix.
The top dog of the race and its owner received a trophy and 150 dollars.
The event benefits paws of southwest, a nonprofit community organization that wants to build a dog park in southwest Washington.
