Royal Carribbean Cruise Ship Arrives with Over 100 Sick Passengers

Royal Caribbean's "Vision of the Seas" cruise ship arrived in Port Everglades, Florida Friday (03/08) with an outbreak of norovirus on board.

Cruise ship officials say a gastrointestinal illness--thought to be the norovirus--broke out on board sickening more than one hundred guests.

They were treated on board with over-the-counter medication.

The cruise ship was sanitized once it docked to prevent the illness from spreading even further.

Vision of the Seas is sailing a 10-night Caribbean itinerary that includes port calls to the British Virgin Islands, St. Maarten and Antigua.
