The Rose Hill Senior Adult Center hosted its annual Martin Luther King Jr. day for those in the community.
The Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church started the program off by singing a few songs. Pastor Delvick McKay followed with words of encouragement. Speaking about Dr. King's dream and how each member in the community can make sure that equality all around the Wiregrass is reached.
"So in 39 years he used the dash of his life to impact not only his generation but the generations that would come after him and so that encourages me as a young pastor, as a community leader to take his life, his legacy and to implement it in my own life," said McKay.
Refreshments were also served to the public as well.
