Chipley – Intermittent lane closures will occur on U.S. 231 between New Bethel Road and the Alabama State line north of Campbellton, Tuesday, Oct. 2.
Geotechnical survey crews are removing core samples from the roadway. Lane closures will remain in effect from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Maintenance activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather.
Drivers are reminded to pay attention to the speed limit when traveling through the work area, and to use caution, especially at night when driving in work zones.
