River Locks Will Remain Open to Recreational Boaters

The locks and dams along the Apalachicola and Chattahoochee rivers could stay open.
The locks were scheduled to close this month but a decision by the u-s army corps of engineers will keep them open.
Bill Smallwood is the project manager for the Corps.
He says a plan is being discussed to keep the locks open.
It would go into effect in the next few months but until then, Smallwood says it's business as usual.
