Rehobeth Residents Invited to Community Meetings

The Rehobeth Volunteer Fire Department will be making some changes soon.

The department had its Insurance Services Offices, ISO, evaluation back in October.

ISO rates all of the fire departments across the country.

The rating directly affects your insurance premiums.

The department will be making some changes because of Rehobeth's growth over the past decade.

It's all to keep a lower rating and insurance costs down.

They want to share those changes with you at a community meeting.

Rehobeth Volunteer Fire Department Chief John Parrish said, "It's very important that you be here. It's not just about the fire department and ISO. Also we're asking people for help. We're always needing help, so anyone that lives in the community and feels like they want to be a part, we need your help."

You have two opportunities to attend a meeting.

The first is Thursday, February 13 at 6 p.m.

The second is Saturday, February 22 at 3 p.m.

Both will be held at the Rehoboth Community Center. An open house will follow at the Rehobeth Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.
