Red Out at Ashford High School

Ashford high school had a day dedicated to colored shirts, and theirs was a “red out”.

They were raising awareness and money for the American Heart Association.
They say this disease hits close to home for many of the students.
And a goal they hoped to reach has been far surpassed.

"Because other people have been raising in the neighborhood of one thousand and so we thought 3000 would be safe, but three thousand wasn’t safe at Ashford, because we have 6000 plus that have been raised.” Ashford principal Bubba Odom said.

They are not done raising money yet.
Friday, they will continue to collect money at the football game tonight.
