Heavy rain led to ponding in yards and roadways in parts of Pike County on Monday, August 19th, 2013.
DOTHAN -- On the bright side, gardens and lawns have not needed tended to in this wet weather.
But for sprinkler and water irrigation installers, it has really dampened business.
It's also hurt those in irrigation part supply. D&J Nursery Owner Stan West said business has definitely been slower in that department.
"We've seen a reduction in sales, somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 percent," West said.
Dothan Utilities officials said that the city has used about 3 million gallons of water less than they did at this time last year.
