Public Involvement Meeting Scheduled for Transportation Alternatives Program

By  |

The City of Dothan is in the process of applying for Transportation Alternatives Program funding from the Alabama Department of Transportation.

The proposed project involves removing existing concrete sidewalks where needed and installing new brick pavers and concrete surfaces with way-finding measures along N. Oates from the end of the existing pavers to Newton St.

If awarded, the project requires 20% owner participation. A public involvement meeting will be held in the commission meeting room from 11a.m. to noon on Wednesday, June 19. The public is invited to attend and provide comments.

The meeting place is handicapped accessible. Persons wanting to attend the meeting and requiring special accommodations or language assistance should contact Todd McDonald at (334) 615-4410.
