Tamika Jasper-Barbary pleaded guilty Friday in federal court to conspiring to use a cell phone to provide her husband with law enforcement information that might impact his cocaine and pain pill business.
Jasper-Barbary had a $57,000-a-year job in the grand jury suite for Miami's federal prosecutor.
Andre Barbary was convicted in November of two drug-related crimes and awaits sentencing.
Court documents say Barbary has been involved in the illegal drug trade for 10 years.
Jasper-Barbary's agreement with prosecutors calls for a sentence of a year in prison, probation and a fine of $5,000.
She will be sentenced in February and has agreed to resign from the prosecutor's office.
