Prevatt Road to be Closed for Repairs

Part of Prevatt Road in Dothan will be closed Thursday, November 8 through Tuesday, November 13.

The Houston County Road and Bridge Department will be replacing pipes under the pavement between Ross Clark Circle and South Beverlye Road in preparation for resurfacing.

Prevatt Road is a main route for school traffic to Beverlye Magnet School and Hidden Lake Elementary School so parents should plan to take a different route during these days (schools are closed on Monday, Novemeber 12).

At varying times, parts of the road will be open to local traffic as work shifts location.
