JACKSON COUNTY, FL-- Many will play, one will win. Powerball players are purchasing tickets in hopes of winning the $400 million jackpot on Wednesday night.
People must match the six numbers on the top of their ticket in order to win the huge prize.
If the winner is not chosen on Wednesday night, the jackpot will continue to grow until someone is selected.
Store clerks said they anticipate their business to be busy with people anxious to try their luck.
"So we more busy on Tuesday and Wednesday and when somebody not win then we're busy on Friday and Saturday," Store clerk Gunjan Patel said.
The prize on Wednesday is still much lower than last year's winnings when an 84-year-old Fla. woman took home a record $590.5 million dollars.
