Power outages plague the wiregrass.
As of this morning there were more than 13,000 Alabama Power customers in the dark across the wiregrass.
By 1:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon there were just 700 in Southeast Alabama.
300 Wiregrass Electric Cooperative customers also had outages.
Most of the outages were caused by frozen power lines and frozen tree limbs falling onto lines.
If you see a downed power-line, call your local power company, police or fire department.
Make sure you don't touch power lines, drive over them or try to remove anything from it.
Report power outages to your power company by phone.
