Postal Service Drug Bust

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division, working with the United States Postal Inspectors Office, conducted an investigation into a suspicious package, sent through the postal service, which resulted in an arrest on October 30, 2012.

Lisa Robinson, DOB 12/07/61, of 506 Dogwood Street, Panama City Beach, was developed as the intended recipient of the package and was contacted. She stated to investigators that the package contained cocaine and heroin. The package was sent from New York to Florida.

The heroin contained in the package was divided into twenty individual packets called “bindles” and were stamped with “Overdose”, the distributor’s logo.

Robinson was arrested and charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Crack Cocaine, Unlawful Use of a Two-way Communication Device, and principal to Introduction of a Controlled Substance into the State of Florida. She was taken to the Bay County Jail.
