DOTHAN, AL--Dozens stopped by the Poplar Head Farmers Market Saturday morning.
Fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers, locally prepared food and specialty items where all up for sale.
Some farmers say although sales this year have been better than last year, the rain has put a slight dent in things.
"It might be a shortage this week of some products because of the rain this week and us not being able to get in the field. We still have to get in the field and gather and when it gets too wet we can't get out but it looks like we're going to get a break in the Rain, the fields will dry out and we'll be able to get back in them and get everything back out," said David Bell with Bell Farms.
The farmers market is held in the Civic Center's parking lot
Every Saturday in June and July, from 8 a.m. until noon.
