Update 7/29/14 12:11 p.m.

Chief Tony Spivey released new information regarding Friday's alleged sexual assault at a press conference Tuesday morning.

The U.S. Marshal Service found Pitts' minivan at the Walmart in Coco Beach, FL, on Saturday. This is when the investigation in that area intensified.

On Monday, U.S. Marshals found Pitts at the Bethesda Hospital East in Boyton Beach, FL. It's not known what Pitts was being treated for.

Chief Spivey released more details about the alleged incident.

Spivey says when the victims returned home late Thursday evening, Pitts was already inside. Spivey says he kidnapped the victims at knife point and forced the adult female to drive to an undisclosed location where Pitts allegedly assaulted both victims.

Pitts reportedly held the victims at gun point through the night and forced the adult female victim to drive him to an undisclosed location in Ozark where he fled.

The female adult victim spoke with the Ozark Fire Department about the alleged sexual assault incident.

Chief Spivey says the suspect and victims live in the same general area.

Pitts can waive extradition back to Alabama. If he does not, a fugitive from justice warrant from the governor can be served, which would bring him back to the state.

Investigators with the Ozark Police Department are on their way to interview Pitts. Chief Spivey says they are making the trip because of the effectiveness of a face-to-face interview.
