Police Seeking Charles Partin as Suspect in Reported Dothan Kidnapping

The Dothan Police Department responded to a report of a kidnapping at 1108 Ross Clark Circle at 1:05 p.m. Upon arrival, police spoke with an employee of Department of Human Resources who reported the incident.

The DHR worker stated she transported 15 year old AILENE LANDER to the medical center for an appointment. While at the office, the worker and Lander were approached by the victim’s step-father, CHARLES PARTIN.

Partin took her to a van and exited the parking lot. A van was stopped by Dothan Police leaving city limits however it has been determined it is NOT the suspect.

Many details are being gathered at this time, early leads are being followed and further inquiries regarding the juveniles’ care being given by DHR are part of the ongoing investigation. At this time it is too early in the investigation to reveal any other details which investigators are working to gather at this time.

If you have any information you are asked to report anything relating to this case to authorities immediately.

The descriptions are as follows:

VICTIM: Ailene Lander, white female fifteen years of age, wearing a white shirt and white/gray shorts.

SUSPECT: Charles Partin, white male thirty-six years of age.

VEHICLE: Two-Tone light blue over dark blue Nissan Quest older model
