DECATUR, Ga. (AP) -- Police with Atlanta's commuter train system are investigating a shooting on the platform of a station in Decatur.

Authorities say a dispute between two men on the westbound platform at Kensington Station ended with one person pulling a gun and opening fire around 8:40 p.m. Sunday.

CBS Atlanta reports (http://bit.ly/QuPxdw) that MARTA on Sunday night suspended its train service at the station -- near Atlanta's eastern edge -- while police investigate the shooting. The system was using a bus service to transport passengers.

Authorities say the person who was shot was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and was listed in stable condition.
MARTA stands for Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority.
