Ozark police have arrested two Carroll High School students who allegedly took a gun to school yesterday.
Police say a 14 and 15-year-old were taken into custody after a gun was found in one of their backpacks.
Both have been charged with certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol, and placed in the Southeast Alabama Diversion Center.
Chief Spivey said that there was never an immediate threat to campus.
