Piney Grove Dry Well Update

One wiregrass city official says he doesn't feel right doubling water rates for one town ... To extend service to one community.
Over the summer ... Several residential water wells went dry in the Piney Grove community several miles north of Samson.
Mayor Clay King says providing service would require a 2-point-7 million dollars on a 40-year loan.
That would increase the minimum monthly water rate from 10 to 20-dollars.
