Physical Education Classes and Broadway Combine for Annual School Show

OZARK -- Director and physical education teacher Vicky McDonald has worked with her students at the Thompkins Early Childhood Center since November to prepare them for Friday morning's P.E. on Broadway at the Ozark Civic Center.

"It was so exciting to see it in November, and the progress through the months, and then you get to see it on stage yesterday and it really feels good," McDonald said.

This annual event allows the students to show their family, friends and community what they have learned in their daily physical education classes. The school uses a kindergarten p.e. curriculum that teaches rhythm, hand-eye coordination and movement through a series of dance, rhythm sticks, bean bags and cup stacking.
