Paxton "No" Dollar General

But the news is not as good for the Walton County Economic Development Alliance.
Dollar General's management has decided not to go forward with plans to open a store in Paxton.
The company decided the plan wasn't feasible since it already has a store right across the state line in Florala.
But Paxton officials are not giving up.
They've come up with an incentive package to lure businesses to the area.
