DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) -- Dothan Regional Airport officials say passenger service for the months of August and September has increased by about twenty percent since the same time period last year.
Airport Director Art Morris spoke to members of the Dothan Regional Airport Authority on Tuesday and told them he's unsure of what the uptick in passenger service may be attributed to.
Reports say Morris also told members that airline fares in Panama City, Fla., Tallahassee, Fla. and Montgomery have increased recently.
Airport officials say the facility served about 9,075 people between August and September 2013 compared to about 7,540 during the same period in 2012.
