Ozark School Hosts South Alabama Early Childhood Conference

OZARK -- More than 150 educators from the tri-state area gathered at the Thompkins Early Childhood Center for a conference on Wednesday morning.

The South Alabama Early Childhood Conference allowed the teachers to have small group discussions with nationally known educators.

The conference was split up into three sessions including active shooter scenarios, dealing with behavioral issues and learning how to engage the student audience.

This event is a way for teachers to receive validation for the techniques they are using properly, and an outlet to get inspiration for the year ahead.
