Ozark Participates in Operation Santa Claus

Ozark, AL - Ozark fire stations are beginning to look like Santa's work shop.

They are drop off locations for Operation Santa Claus.

The program provides christmas gifts for kids in the area through the Organized Community Action Program.

You can help by dropping off a new toy at any Ozark fire station.

"Theres a lot of underprivileged kids that's in the area, and their families don't have money to buy presents for them. That's what the outreach program is for. People and families who don't have the funds like other people do," said Steve Sketo, Operation Chief Ozark Fire Department.

OCAP is a self help agency which provides decent housing, food, clothing and health assistance among other things.
