Opp Landfill Fees

Opp's new mayor is looking at ways' the city can "cut" red ink and save money for capital projects.
Opp Mayor John Bartholomew says the city landfill runs at an annual deficit of tens-of-thousands of dollars. Mayor Bartholomew would like to double and even triple dumping fees companies pay to dispose of construction related material. And those folks who bring "old" televisions and electronic items will for the first time have to pay a fee…
