On the Ballot: Georgia Constitution Amendment #2

Amendment #2 of 2 on Georgia’s 2012 ballot is aimed at reducing operating costs in the state.

If passed, Amendment #2 would allow certain state agencies to enter into multi-year rental agreements for certain properties.

The Georgia Chamber of Commerce is in favor of the measure. They say it would save the government money.

However, some Georgia newspapers such as the Courier-Herald are opposed to Amendment #2.
