Much like Amendment Number Three, Alabama Constitutional Amendment Number Five deals with an issue far removed from the Wiregrass area.
If passed, this amendment would transfer all of the assets and liabilities from the Prichard Water Works in Mobile County to the Mobile Area Water and Sewer System.
It's sponsored by several Republicans, including State Senators Arthur Orr and Rusty Glover.
