On the Ballot: Alabama Constitution Amendment #3

Alabama Constitution Amendment #3 as it appears on a sample ballot.

Amendment #3 involves an area far away from the Wiregrass, all the way on the opposite side of the state.

If passed, this amendment would make the small Baldwin County community of Stockton a landmark district.

Backers of the bill say that it would protect it against annexation by other communities.

The bill is sponsored by four Republican State Representatives: Steve McMillan, Harry Shiver, Joe Faust, and Alan Baker
