On the Ballot: Alabama Constitution Amendment #2

Alabama Constitutional Amendment #2 as it appears on a sample ballot.

The second of eleven constitutional amendments that will be on the 2012 Alabama ballot involve proposed bond sells involving industries.

Amendment #2 allows the state to sell more bonds to get money to offer industries to build or expand plants in Alabama.

There would be a proposed cap of 750 million dollars on such bonds.

This measure is sponsored by State Representative Jay Love and backed by governor Robert Bentley, both Republicans.
