Alabama Constitution Amendment #10 as it appears on a sample ballot.

Amendment number 10 on the 2012 ballot is sponsored by Representative Paul Demarco, and also like number 9, it deals with updating the language of the over-100 year old state constitution.

The amendment would bring the constitution's banking laws comparable with current laws across the nation.

It would also remove language referring to the gold standard, which has not been in place across the country in several decades.
