Four-time Olympic gold medalist Missy Franklin made her high school swim season debut this week.

It was Franklin's first competition since the London Games, and what do you know, she won.

She lapped the field in the 500 and won by 20 seconds in the 200.

"I was so nervous before this meet and I have no idea why. I was literally like intensely shaking in the locker room and all the team mates were like 'what is wrong with you?' I was like 'I don't know what's happening.' I was so nervous and I love that because it shows me that the excitement of the sport is still there." said Franklin.

Franklin will compete in at least one other meet this season, along with participating in the state championships next month.
