A former Hartford resident was recognized today for her efforts in helping others.
North 6th avenue was re-named "Ollie Glass Avenue".
It's been more than a year since Glass passed away. She is credited with helping her neighbors and her community. Miss. Glass was 100 years old ... A community leader and active member of the Bethel AME Church.
