OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Authorities say a man accused in the shooting death of an Oklahoma City teenager has been arrested in Alabama.
Police say 20-year-old Deante James Hawthorne was arrested Sunday by U.S. Marshals in Ozark, Ala. He was arrested on a first-degree murder complaint in connection with the shooting death of 16-year-old Khaleeq Landon.
Authorities did not know if he had an attorney.
the shooting happened June 14 at the Windsor Village apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City.
Landon was taken to OU Medical Center, where he later died.
